Make a lasting impact in the lives of immigrants and refugees by volunteering with us. Together, we can empower individuals to thrive and build brighter futures. Volunteer today and be part of a mission that truly makes a difference.
Become a Home-Set-Up Volunteer and play a vital role for our newest refugee families. The Furniture Project, our community partner, will supply the furniture, household items, and delivery assistance. Your team will meet at the location of the set-up, unload the furniture from the delivery truck, and arrange it with your own personal, welcoming touches.
Also available is a culturally appropriate grocery list if you wanted to stock the kitchen with the first week’s groceries for the family.
As a conversation partner, you play a crucial role in facilitating language practice for refugees through regular meetings in the comfort of their homes or within the community, fostering a supportive environment for effective language development.
Volunteers will be paired with a client and together they will coordinate a weekly time and location for one-on-one meetings to practice English.
Minimum six-month commitment.
As a co-sponsor team, you will work alongside our agency staff to give a newly arriving refugee family the support they need to flourish in their new home.
